Caer Dowdan Moor 25mm Floor Plans (PDF)

A forlorn structure deep in a marshy wasteland, the Dowdan ancestral home is built to withstand the dangers of the swamp. Erected solidly upon a thick foundation of stone rubble, the castle includes five towers, two of which serve as a gatehouse. Caer Dowdan Moor rises to a height of five stories above the surrounding grasses and sedges, making the fortress the dominant presence in the peaty bog.

Each PDF (square and hex grid version) includes five overview maps with a room-by-room legend and 118 floor plans (59 color, 59 grayscale) scaled in one inch square or hex grids for use with 25mm miniatures.

Dowdan Castle boasts a standing garrison of thirty-four troops quartered in the southwest tower. The manor house itself is built against the south wall, and includes a chapel and three opulent bedchambers. The southeast tower is similarly devoted to the family’s use, containing a study and three additional bedchambers. For greater protection against fire, the kitchen is housed in a separate building adjacent to the east wall.
