Any GM knows how difficult it is to, in addition to all your other responsibilities, play architect as well.
Especially when it comes to medieval settings: how can you accurately design a castle or keep if you've
never explored one from side to side? Where does the lord live? What does a gatehouse look like? How
are murder holes designed, and how high are crennelations?
If you know what I'm talking about, you will love this well-executed product. It contains five fully designed
castles and keeps (one of them has 10 floors!) in great detail and with excellent research. Each room has
a short description -- detailed enough to describe its appearance and functionality, short enough to leave
the story-related details to your own design.
I can strongly recommend this product to any GM managing a strongly map-centered campaign containing
castles, keeps or towers.
